An Old New Orleans Pharmacy

Pharmacies once sold more than just medicines -- they could sell magic as well. When the line between the two practices were not so clear, items like love powders would be purchased the same as any other drug from the local chemist. (Though whether or not the chemist believed in the magical powers and formulated the goods accordingly, is another matter...)

  1. It is interesting how much the world has changed, from "Alchemy" to "Science" to "Magic", etc. It would be quite a sight to see an old pharmacy from way back then. I can hardly imagine all of the unique items for magic that they would have had.
